Join us for our flagship knife making course, the one that started it all. A full-day, hands-on experience in our South Auckland workshop where you design and craft your very own handmade knife. Whether you're drawn to the elegance of a Japanese kitchen knife or the rugged versatility of a hunting, bushcraft, or camping knife, this immersive course empowers you to create a tool that’s uniquely yours.

Class Duration: 8:00am to 5:00pm
Class Size: Limited to 5-6 participants for a personalized experience
Class Location: Our workshops are based out in the country village of Clevedon.

Custom Bookings: Need a class on a date not listed or planning for a group larger than 5? We offer custom bookings for a minimum of 4 people. Get in touch to discuss.

Beginners through to keen makers. No workshop or on the tools experience needed. We teach you everything you need to know, step by step.

Up to 6 so everyone gets time on the tools. Larger team/corporate groups by arrangement.

You’ll make a real, usable knife. Shaped, ground, hardened, and finished by you, with guidance from Bruce. Our knives are made from high carbon steel and are limited to 250mm in total length in order to be achievable in a one day course.

Closed-toe shoes, long pants, and natural fibres (e.g., cotton). Tie long hair back. Bring a drink bottle/snacks if you like.
