Refund Policy

Please make your selection carefully, as we are unable to provide refunds under any circumstances. This policy applies to the following scenarios, although it is not limited to:

  • Change of mind on your part

  • Unavailability of the desired date

  • Expiration of your gift card without prior extension arrangement

  • Inability to complete the course close to the intended occasion

  • Course cancellation by either party for any reason

Cancellations/ Rescheduling

Once a course is booked, it cannot be cancelled/ refunded. However, you do have the option to reschedule the course once, to another date within a three-month period from the original scheduled date.

Depending on the notice period provided, additional scenarios will apply as outlined below:

In the event of a cancellation or amendment to your booking, reschedules will only be facilitated when Lost Arts receives notification at least 14 days prior (NZ time) to course date. If you wish to cancel or reschedule inside this 14 day period, Lost Arts will offer a class reschedule ONLY if we can on-sell your course spot to someone else in that time. If your spot cannot be sold, a reschedule/ transfer will not be given.

Please note that only one postponement of the course is allowed. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled course, no refund will be provided.

While alternative course dates will be offered, if they are not suitable for you, refunds will not be granted. In such cases, you may need to consider attending a course on a weekday.

This policy is in place because our courses are highly sought after and often fully booked months in advance. We maintain a waiting list of individuals who wish to attend, and it is necessary for us to provide them with adequate notice. If many people decide to reschedule at short notice, we may be unable to fill the spots and risk cancelling the day, therefore ruining it for others on that course.

Gift Voucher Policy

  • Gift vouchers can only be purchased and used through lostarts.co.nz

  • Gift vouchers can be exchanged for courses at Lost Arts up to the stated value.

  • Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

  • Gift vouchers are non-refundable, non -transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash

  • Once the gift voucher has been fully redeemed, it cannot be reused.

  • Lost Arts reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions of the e-gift card at any time and to take appropriate actions, including the cancellation of a gift voucher if, at its discretion, it deems such action necessary.

If you are unable to utilize the voucher within the given timeframe, it is important to contact us before the expiry date to arrange an extension. Only one extension, for a maximum of 3 months, will be granted before the card expires.

When we renew your voucher, it is recommended you join our email list to get notified of new date releases as soon as they happen. This will give you the best chance to book onto an available course before your renewal expires. It is your responsibility to ensure you use that voucher within the renewal period, if you fail to book a course we will not renew your voucher again.

If you contact us after your voucher has expired (but within 3 months of the expiry date), we will extend your voucher expiry date by 3 months, subject to an admin fee.

If there has been an increase in course fees since the gift voucher was purchased, you will be required to cover the additional course costs when using the card.

Gift voucher returns policy

Please make your selections carefully as we are unable to refund or exchange your purchases once your order has been processed. Please ensure that your vouchers are kept in a safe place as we are unable to replace lost or stolen vouchers.

Cancellation of Your Course

Courses may be canceled due to factors such as government directives, insufficient bookings, power outages in our area, or other reasons. We retain the right to cancel courses at our discretion without providing a specific reason.

In the event of a cancellation, we will make every effort to reschedule your course within 6 months. If the replacement course dates are not suitable for your schedule, a refund will not be issued.

Exclusion from Course

We reserve the right to exclude students from participating in a course either before its commencement or during the course, in the event of non-compliance with instructions from our tutor.

If exclusion occurs, no refund will be provided for any portion of the course fee. We cannot accept liability for any consequential losses incurred by you, including but not limited to travel and accommodation costs, loss of income, or any other expenses.

Future Changes

We retain the right to modify and augment these terms of trade at any time, without necessarily providing explicit notification to you.
