Leather Sheath Making Course.
Design & Craft Your Own Leather Knife Sheath.
This workshop is a half day course, starting at 1:00pm and going through to 5:00pm. The afternoon will take you from designing your sheath around your knife, through to moulding, stitching, finishing and treating the leather. Afternoon tea is on us, just turn up ready to go with your knife you want to make a sheath for. This course is suitable for anyone from workshop beginners to those familiar and more experienced around tools.

Our sheath course costs $200/pp.
But don’t worry, we look after you. This includes all materials involved in making your knife sheath as well as afternoon tea, coffee and snacks.
What knife can I bring?
You are able to make a sheath for any knife you like as long as its 300 mm or under. This is because larger items often take longer to make, making it too difficult to fit into one day and still do a good job. If you have any doubts please contact us.
What materials do you use?
We use high quality vegetable tanned cows leather and Japanese thread for our sheath making. We want you to go away with an item that will last a lifetime, so we only use the best materials.
How many people per course?
Courses are limited to up to 4 people max. This is to ensure each student receives enough 1-on-1 time.
